But not for much longer, because I just made some nice purchases I'm sure all of you will enjoy!
1. I blew up my tire a mile from my house so I got some 215/60R16 Blizzak WS80's for my stock wheels, great snow tires, highly recommend them!
2. I'm sick of my slight over boost in the winter and very slight over boost in the summer, so I bought something wicked cool... Grimm Speed Up Pipe W/ External wastegate and a Turbo Smart 40mm EWG
3. Grimmspeed EBCS (To control that boost)
4. (Soon to be purchased) A turbo that is not a hairdryer! (Hopefully VF48!)
5. (Soon to be purchased) A Big ol' top mount intercooler! (Presumably Grimmspeed's, they give discounts to local subie guys and their shop is down the road from my place.)

On the topic of Scoobs, I was asked last night to help diagnose a steering issue on a WRX (notchy, popping stiffness when cold) and from what I've dug up so far, it's typically the steering shaft U-joints, which is weird. Had you heard of that?

Yep my buddies legacy did that, the bushings went out in the steering column and caused a really weird popping feeling.
